He started playing drums at the age of 12, with heavy metal, grunge an alternative/indie influences. He first met with goa/psytrance in the year of 1999 and started djing 3 years after. In 2004 he created his solo project called Chemical Tech which can be defined as pushing full-on psychedelic trance with a balance between melodies and full power grooves. Actually he has been over most important mexican cities and played next to the biggest names of the scene. Chemical Tech works on 4 diferent platforms: wavelab 5.0, cubase sx 3, protools 6.9 y live 6. The first one is used to create percutions and drums, the second one to sequence wave forms, the third one used for masterizing and the last one to make the total mix of all that creativity. Urantia is Victor Hugo Mata from Zacatecas, Mexico.
