Printable Circle Patterns
For 1” - 58” diameter circles
Make perfect circles in a snap! These
printable patterns are great for tablecloths,
tree skirts, candle mats, round pillows, circle
skirts, flounces, floorcloths, etc.
Fabric Requirements
Make sure the width of the fabric
(selvage to selvage) is an inch or so wider
than the desired finished diameter of the
circle. The length (inches purchased off
the bolt) should also be a bit longer than
the desired finished diameter.
Printing
The chart on the right shows which
pages to print for different finished circle
diameters. Note: The patterns are
designed to be printed at 100%. Before
printing the patterns, make sure that
page scaling is set to none in the Adobe
Acrobat print window. To be sure your
pattern printed at the correct size,
measure the box on the the first pattern
page. It should measure exactly 1 inch
by 1 inch.
Pattern Assembly
Cut out each piece at the outermost
markings. Overlap the pattern pieces at
the shaded areas and pin, glue, tape, or
staple them together as shown.

Cutting
After assembly, cut the pattern to the desired size. The finshed diameters are
marked on the two straight lines. If you are making a circle with a hole in the
center, also cut the pattern at the proper position for the opening. For example,
a 58” wide tree skirt with a 6” hole in the middle would be cut at the 58” and 6”
markings.

Cut the fabric into a square that is slightly larger than the desired finished
diameter of the circle (a). Fold the fabric in half lengthwise (b). Make a second
fold, this time widthwise (c).

Place the numbered straight edges of the pattern on the folds (d). Pin into place.
Cut the fabric at the outer curved edge (e). If you are making a circle with a hole in
it (f), cut the fabric at the inner curved edge as well (g).
Remove the pins and unfold your circle (h).
