Basic card
(1) Set the type aligned
left in a single block, one typeface
and size, business name in bold, con-
tact information in light, one space
between. Tint the contact info gray, and
place everything in the upper-left corner.
(2) Add a full-page photo. As an option, sampling a
color for the name ties words and image together.
The result is attractive, understated, and very easy
to make. For a little less understatement, try this:

Make your name BIG!
(above) Set your name in a
more-expressive typeface, make it big, and put it in the
top left corner. Place your text block in the bottom corner.
That's it! What's great is that the simplicity of the text
block and photo allow you to use practically any headline

creates
an artistic, signature-like title that can double as a logo-
