Dear friends, Read the Big Readme inside for more info. This is a definitive collection from beginner to master. If something is repeated from the previous collections, it is certainly improved – most often that means new annotations by the author herself (himself) :) If a folder contains a complete variation version in Russian or Spanish, there might also be another base named “annotless” containing only the games without variations. This is intended to provide u the opportunity to spot individual games without knowing Russian or Spanish. Use the “Search Position” function in Chessbase for that. Spot game, take position, search it in the base with variations, and u shall not need the name of the players in Latin letters. If a folder contains a “Texto” folder, than the Texto contains all games from the book in different folders (bottom of inside folder) and u have to load them one after the other. To spot a concrete game u have to build a base of all pgn’s from the Texto, than find the game in the annotless base, search position and u will find it. EVERY BASE INSIDE IS DIFFERENT AND IT IS SO FOR REASON. For the cb and pgn bases use Chessbase 12 or 13, this is the best choice. For CDP bases use Chess Assistant and be careful not to download an infected version form some torrent. For djvu use djvu viewer or Callibre. For epub and mobi use Callibre and u can also convert. Happy training! HOW TO TRAIN As an amateur, u will have to divide your training sessions into 4 parts equal in duration. I suggest using the following books for every section in the following sequence. All books are inside as documents and fully annotated as bases. TACTICS: CT-ART – you have to use Chess Assistant. Neishtadt – Tactical Henkin – 1000 Pachman – Tactics in 2 vols – Pieces and Attack Vukovic – Art of Attack Neishtadt – Improve Your Chess Tactics (some games are the same as in the above book) Beim – How to Calculate Beim – Dynamic Play Muller – Chess Cafe Puzzle 1 POSITIONAL PLAY Chernev – Logical Chess (begnner) Seirawan - Strategy Weeramantry Adam Hunt – Strategy Move by Move Romanovsky Euwe and Kramer Soltis – Pawn Structure Hellsten – Masteraing Opening Strategy Hellsten – Mastering Chess Strategy ENDGAMES Flear – Improve Endgame De la Villa – 100 Shereshevsky – Endgame Strategy Shereshevsky – Mastering Vol 1, 2 Marin – Learn from the Legends (included in 2 volumes as cbh and in one base as pgn) OPENINGS Seirawan – Winning Openings (beginner) Neishtadt – Opening Catastrophes (opening tactics) Than the Starting Out series by Everyman. Than search for a repertoire, I am not a professional, but there are plenty of repertoire books inside. MIXED TRAINING When u reach 2000 and start doing mixed training, use the following: Popov – Chess Lessons Hort and Jansa – Best Move Volokitin – Perfect your Chess Nunn – Puzzle Book Dvoretsky – the so called books on strategy, very difficult.
